Music has a great role while we worship God. When I was in a church and we were worshipping God I thought about the next things concernig Christian music, and I would like to share them with you in this article.<\/p>\n
Sing a new song<\/strong><\/p>\n In the book of Psalms king David, who composed many songs that worhiped God advises us at least for 6 times to sing new songs to God. Here is what he says:<\/p>\n Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth. (Psalm 96:1)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n I have noticed that we don\u2019t hear many new songs for God in the churches, but they sing either old songs or songs taken from other nations. For sure these nations worshiped and continue to worship God beautiful with their songs, that\u2019s why they are translated into so many languages. The authors wrote those songs from their heart full of worship for God. If we have the same worship and feelings for God, Christians from our country who have these abilities from God must compose and sing new songs to the Most High. This is what psalmist David urges us to in the above psalm: all the earth sing to the Lord a new song. Or how would people feel if preachers did the same: they would take someone\u2019s sermons and would preach the same sermon everywhere and everytime?<\/p>\n Choose the songs to be sung by the whole congregation<\/strong><\/p>\n It is important that the songs that are sung by the whole congregation in the church to rhyme and to have a clear rythm. They are easier to be sung.<\/p>\n There are many beautiful songs, but they don\u2019t rhyme and they don\u2019t have a fix rythm. That\u2019s why, they are more difficult to be sung with the whole congregation, but they are very nice when they are sung by a person or by a group.<\/p>\n I will end up with the words of David:<\/p>\n Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with a shout of joy. For the word of the LORD is upright, and all His work is done in faithfulness.
