These days I have received the next question from a young reader of the portal Moldova Cre\u0219tin\u0103<\/a><\/p>\n

\n

My house is big and there is much work to be done. How should I act when my mother sends me to work, but I can not have the wish to work by any means?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This problem is faced not only by children, but also by mature people. That\u2019s why, in this article I come with some practical advice for those who want to defeat laziness and become hardworking people, that are useful\u00a0to others.<\/p>\n

Learn from the hardworking people<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Follow their example. Don\u2019t look at those who don\u2019t want to work and don\u2019t consider them happy. Sometimes, sluggards try to make profit on the hardworking people, and they don\u2019t do their work, so that the diligent people may do it. Don\u2019t be deceived\u00a0by their attitude and don\u2019t learn such an attitude. Inversely, look at the hardworking people and learn the diligence\u00a0from them.\u00a0Here is what the Scriptures says:<\/p>\n

Go to the ant, O sluggard,\u00a0observe her ways and be wise,\u00a0which, having no chief,\u00a0officer or ruler,\u00a0prepares her food in the summer\u00a0and gathers her provision in the harvest.\u00a0How long will you lie down, O sluggard?\u00a0When will you arise from your sleep?\u00a0\u201dA little sleep, a little slumber,\u00a0a little folding of the hands to rest\u201d\u2013\u00a0Your poverty will come in like a vagabond\u00a0and your need like an armed man. (Proverbs 6:6\u201311)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Hardworking people don\u2019t wait for somebody to ask them to work and they don\u2019t work only then when they are supervised. The work is a pleasure for them and they do it qualitatively. If you want to be a happy man, try to do your\u00a0job well. If you live in a big house, this means that your parents are hardworking people, who take care of you. Learn from them and every time you are asked to do a job, do it with delight.<\/p>\n

Work so, that you may serve others and bring joy to the people<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The only possibility to have delight in whatever you do, is to do that thing with love, to bring joy to other people. So, when your mother asks you to work, think at the quantity of the work that she and your father do. They work with delight because they love you, your brothers and sisters and they want to make you feel good in their care and love. If you think in the same way and of you want to show love for your parents and for your brothers daily, the work will become a delight. And then, if there live a lot of people in a big house, and if all of them work and serve one another, it is very much joy and the work is not only for one or two persons.<\/p>\n

Learn diligence, because this will make you happy and able to make happy your parents, your future family and all people which God will give you the opportunity to serve to.<\/p>\n
