At the English Camp, every evening we studied common sense according the Holy Scriptures. After we have learnt how common sense is manifested in the relations with teachers, parents, God, bad people, friends, etc., we are going to learn principles of common sense at the working place:<\/p>\n
Wise Solomon wrote so:<\/p>\n
\nGo to the ant, O sluggard, observe her ways and be wise! (Proverbs 6:6)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
Diligent people are fewer than sluggards. Don\u2019t you believe? Look around you and you will see. How many friends of yours work and how many of them haven\u2019t found any job yet? If you are at school, how many of your classmates fulfill their responsibilities having a nice attitude and how many of them don\u2019t make any effort to learn? Our sinful nature tends to orient itself to the wrong direction, because this needs no effort. Don\u2019t be caught in the same trap of undiscipline and laziness. Look attentively at those who are diligent, that work well, learn well, etc. Look attentively to understand how these people manage to do the things they have and the responsabilities they have been entrusted. Look at them attentively and follow their example.<\/p>\n
2.<\/strong> Do all your work well and qualitatively always<\/strong>.<\/h2>\n
Solomon continues that passage, when he says what we can learn from the ant:<\/p>\n

Most people if they don\u2019t have supervisors, then they don\u2019t work, or don\u2019t do their work in time, qualitatively, leave the work of place earlier, etc. Don\u2019t be one of them because this is the exact reason they don\u2019t prosper and are not promoted in their job. Then, this is lack of common sense because you become like one who wants to deceive always and men should be afraid when you enter their house, so that you may not steal anything. I think you don\u2019t feel well to hear this. It is the same when you don\u2019t fulfill your responsabilities at your work and you work only when you are supervised.<\/p>\n
3. Do your job in time<\/strong>.<\/h2>\n
The ant simbolizes the diligent man and Solomon says about it: \u201cprepares her food in the summer and gathers her provision in the harvest\u201d. Don\u2019t put off your work, but do it in time. In this way, you will not be under the pressure of urgency, you will not anger your leader and the members of yor team and you will bring honour to the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ, that you say you observe.<\/p>\n
