Jesus taught Nicodemus that the new birth is the basic condition for entrance into the kingdom of heaven and a spiritual experience that manifests itself by transforming human life.<\/span>\u00a0After this, Nicodemus, who was a religious man\u00a0with great influence in his time, wanted to make this experience in his life and asked Jesus: <\/span><\/p>\n

\n

How can these things be? (John 3:9).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In this article I will present the explanations and instructions of Jesus to anyone who wants to be born again.<\/span> Like\u00a0all others, these instructions and tips work when they are applied.<\/span> So, here is\u00a0what you have to do to be born again.<\/span><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong><\/span> <\/span>Receive the\u00a0Christian testimony<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

To the question of Nicodemus: \u201cHow can these things be\u201d, Jesus replied: <\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Are you the teacher of Israel and do not understand these things?\u00a0Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know and testify of what we have seen, and you do not accept our testimony.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

When he said \u201cwe speak \u201cJesus referred to Himself, His disciples and the people testifying\u00a0about Him.<\/span> Nicodemus was in the party of the Pharisees and therefore, Lord Jesus addressed him as a representative of the party when He said:\u00a0\u201dYou do not accept our testimony.\u201d<\/span> There is a class of arrogant people who are fully convinced of their concepts and disregard any evidence, any testimony and their minds do not seek the truth, but \u201carguments\u201d and speculation to attack the truth.<\/span> Next, all Jesus told Nicodemus\u00a0refers\u00a0to the whole party\u00a0of Pharisees:<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

If I told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In other words, if you do not believe the things that are seen with the eyes, how\u00a0will you believe the heavenly\u00a0things, that\u00a0can not be seen with the eyes but can be trusted based on the given testimonies.<\/span>\u00a0Lord<\/span>\u00a0Jesus had the full authority over the\u00a0heavenly\u00a0things He was\u00a0declaring, because <\/span><\/p>\n

\n

no one has ascended into heaven, but He who descended from heaven: the Son of Man. (John 3:13)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The conclusion is, in order to be born again, first you must\u00a0receive the testimony of Lord Jesus, which is written on the pages of the Holy Scriptures, the New Testament, and also to receive the testimony of Christians who believe and live the truth of the Bible.<\/span> Do you receive the Christian testimony? <\/span>Only\u00a0performing this condition you can make the next step, that is \u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

To explain the importance of faith\u00a0for the new birth, Jesus turned to the\u00a0events\u00a0from the history of Israel\u00a0well known by Nicodemus and said:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up;\u00a0so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life.\u00a0(John 3:14-15)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The case of the serpent lifted up by Moses in the desert is recounted in the book of Numbers. When they\u00a0were avoiding Edom, the people lost patience on the road and spoke against God and against Moses: <\/span><\/p>\n

\n

\u201cWhy have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and we loathe this miserable food.\u201d\u00a0The LORD sent fiery serpents among the people and they bit the people, so that many people of Israel died. So the people came to Moses and said, \u201cWe have sinned, because we have spoken against the LORD and you; intercede with the LORD, that He may remove the serpents from us.\u201d And Moses interceded for the people.\u00a0Then the LORD said to Moses, \u201cMake a fiery serpent, and set it on a standard; and it shall come about, that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, he will live.\u201d\u00a0And Moses made a bronze serpent and set it on the standard; and it came about, that if a serpent bit any man, when he looked to the bronze serpent, he lived.\u00a0<\/span>(Numbers 21:4-9) <\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The Bible researchers assume that at that time, people of Israel who were in the wilderness,\u00a0counted over 2.5 million of men with their wives and children.<\/span> The camp was arranged in an order established by God, with the\u00a0meeting tent in the center of the camp.<\/span> The standard and the bronze serpent\u00a0were in the centre of the camp, and\u00a0it\u00a0could be seen only by those who were in\u00a0its immediate vicinity.<\/span> And if it happened that someone from one end of the camp was bitten by a fiery snake, if he did not know\u00a0what the solution was, he was\u00a0urged by people to run fast, until\u00a0the poison affected him,\u00a0that he might\u00a0manage\u00a0to see the bronze serpent\u00a0set on the standard and be healed.<\/span> Those who believed ran, saw the bronze serpent\u00a0and were healed.<\/span>\u00a0Others, who were \u201cmore practical and realistic\u201d would have said: \u201cThis is a childish game \u2026 How can that help if I see a hanging bronze snake?<\/span> If it were a drug, I would believe, but it can not be so simply\u2026\u201d God wants to be trusted on the Word and He is the same yesterday, today and forever and He does the same miracles.<\/span>\u00a0So, for a man be born again,\u00a0he must believe wholeheartedly in Jesus Christ:<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Because God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.\u00a0He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Faith brings new birth and the greatest gift that a man can receive \u2013 eternal life. <\/span>Unbelief in the Lord Jesus Christ is the greatest crime a man can commit against his own soul. <\/span>Pay attention to the tense of the verb and why unbelievers are judged when He says: <\/span><\/p>\n

\n

But who does not believe has been judged already, because\u00a0he has not\u00a0believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

If\u00a0one fulfills this condition for the new birth, the\u00a0next one\u00a0will be very easy to perform\u00a0and it is\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

3.<\/strong><\/span> Come to Light<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Lord Jesus told Nicodemus that:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.\u00a0(John 3:20-21)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In t<\/span>he context of this passage, to come to the Light means\u00a0to move on the side of the Lord Jesus Christ and live in obedience to Him, in the light, working\u00a0in truth and doing what is right.<\/span> There are many people who claim to have faith that Jesus Christ wishes for the salvation of their souls, but continue to live in darkness, doing evil deeds, hating the truth and the holy life.<\/span> The new birth takes place when someone\u00a0takes a\u00a0final decision not to live in sin and darkness, but in light and truth.<\/span>\u00a0Take this decision in your heart, to experience the new birth.<\/span>\u00a0In the following\u00a0articles I intend to present what happens in the inner world of a man at his new birth\u00a0and how\u00a0the life of\u00a0a born again person looks like.<\/span><\/p>\n

In conclusion I urge you to\u00a0receive the\u00a0Christian testimony\u00a0and the Word of God, to believe wholeheartedly in the Lord Jesus Christ and to come to light as to live well.<\/span>\u00a0God bless you and give you a new life!<\/p>\n
