I had a talk with a young Christian man, who is mistreated by people who have different positions. His testimony makes me realize that our society violates the right of the orphan, of the widow and of the stranger more often. I want to present the situation of Ciprian, the guy I have mentioned and then, we will see how God looks at these violations and what are the consequences of those who practice them.<\/p>\n

Ciprian is a student at the Technical University of Moldova. He is the only child in the family and he was raised up by his mother only. He is an exceptional guy, eager to learn good things, and an exemplary Christian. When he was a sophomore, one of his\u00a0teachers, T.M, doctor of Economic Science, asked the students who was able to work with the computer and knew Mathematics to help her with her work. Ciprian offered his help, but then that teacher took profit of him and asked him to help her after lessons, to come on Sundays during the whole year to help her to write her Doctor Thesis and not only. That woman was so indifferent that she didn\u2019t bring him anything to eat and when he wanted to go home, she shouted at him and threatened to give him a low grade. Ciprian knew very well the subject taught by her, but the highest grade he was given \u201cas a reward for his job\u201d was 9. (B). Once, when Ciprian wasn\u2019t able to face all her requests and he asked to be dismissed from this \u201chelp request\u201d, the teacher told him he would be expelled. So it was. He did not have money to pay his studies in time, even if he had a very high grade, Ciprian was expelled. He wrote a petition to the Ministry of Education to pay a lower price for his studies and he got a positive answer very quickly. But, he could not matriculate\u00a0again because that teacher, T.M\u00a0said he had failed the exam, that was not true. What does this woman think? It seems that she doesn\u2019t know the Word of God concerning\u00a0her deeds and this situation. Now, when Ciprian wants to solve the problem and goes to her, she begins to shout at him \u201cGet out!\u201d\u00a0as soon as she sees him.<\/p>\n

Here is what God says in the book of Exodus:<\/p>\n

\n

You shall not afflict any widow or orphan.\u00a0If you afflict him at all, and if he does cry out to Me, I will surely hear his cry;\u00a0and My anger will be kindled, and I will kill you with the sword, and your wives shall become widows and your children fatherless. (Exodus 22:22\u201324)(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

God says very clearly that the one who afflicts the orphan will have his\/her children fatherless. How? God will put end\u00a0to the lives of those who act\u00a0this way.<\/p>\n

But it is not only T.M who acts so\u2026 There are many more. After he graduated that year, Ciprian had very high marks and he should have received a scholarship of 220 lei. When he went to get his scholarship, he was told he would get only a social scholarship of 120 lei and if he put any questions, he would not receive it either. And what do you think? He got that scholarship only for half a year, and then, when he went the next time to take it, he was told that there were many students who have high grades and there was no money for him. So, they had no money for an orphan\u2026<\/p>\n

Why do people act this way? Because in their eyes, an orphan has no protection from people. They forgot that God is the One who protects them directly and He will intercede for them.<\/p>\n

If you are one who afflicts orphans, I advise you\u00a0to stop doing this great evil, that will bring you grave consequences. Go today and give back all that you have taken from an orphan and ask for forgiveness from him. And from this moment on, be one who protects the orphan, the widow and the stranger, and whoever suffers. You will reflect God\u2019s image in this way. And this is not sufficient. You made God angry because you afflicted the orphans or anyone else from the mentioned categories, you sinned and punishment waits for you. God says that <\/p>\n

\n

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 )(NASB)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Come to Jesus, confess you sin, repent and live a holy and obedient life.<\/p>\n
