Part of our vision is to provide at larger scale training to more Christian workers at the future center, as we did for Vladimir from Ukraine. 11 years ago, he and his wife were serving in church planting in Perespa village. Following the model seen from others, they tried to invite poor people from the locality to church by offering material aid, but they weren’t interested in Gospel teaching and achieved almost no results. Initially, 50 children came, attracted by the gifts received, but having no interest in teaching, less than 10 remained. In this frustrating situation, Vladimir shared with his wife the desire to become a student at the Taekwon-Do faculty of the International Mission School in Moldova. Although they had small children, his wife greatly encouraged him to go, knowing Vladimir’s passion for sports and martial arts. They sold their car and, together with the $1000 donation raised by the local church, Vladimir managed to cover the study expenses and leave money for his wife for family needs during his studies. Immediately after his return, 40 children gathered in the same village and began learning the Bible and sports with full dedication.<\/p>\n

Roman, a Christian from the region who had previously practiced martial arts, came to learn from Vladimir and joined the ministry.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Two years ago, Vladimir’s son Vadim, inspired by his father’s example, became a student at the International Mission School and joined the ministry as an instructor. Throughout the 11 years of activity, Vladimir and his team have managed to systematically teach the Gospel and Taekwon-Do to over 500 children and teenagers. After Vladimir was mobilized into the army, his son Vadim and instructor Roman continued the intensive discipleship process.<\/p>\n
