I am motivated to write this article, because I follow the events in the Republic of Moldova and I know that the LGBT community march took place the other day. This is a march of homosexuals, lesbians and all those who support and promote this community. I also know that the President of the country, Mr Igor Dodon, has also announced an action in support of the family, where many people are invited. I do not know how this action will take place, but in previous years I have seen that they took place with quarrels and violence. Through this article I want to address all readers who follow the portal Christian Moldova and give you some exhortations from God.<\/span><\/p>\n

My dear ones, what is happening in our country and around the world is a spiritual struggle. These people, the homosexuals, have chosen to live in this sin. The Bible defines their way of life as sin. They chose to live that way and could have lived quietly in their practices, just as people who practice other sins do not expose them and do not try to impose them on society as a whole. The gravity of this sin is manifested by the fact that those who practice it want to impose it on the whole society. Under the pretext of defending human rights, they impose their practices on everyone. Frankly, no one violates their rights, sexuality is an intimate aspect of human life and no man seeks to find out details of this aspect of another man’s life. This happens as long as someone does not begin to expose it, to trumpet it, on the occasion of provoking quarrels. These actions are not organized with the aim of defending rights, eliminating discrimination, but with the aim of promoting these abnormal practices. Behind these actions is Satan, the enemy of mankind, the spirits of wickedness, who seek to turn people away from God.<\/span><\/p>\n

These days I read some statistics, being subscribed to the newsletter of the association “Pro Familia” in Romania, I received a message from which I selected two statistics that shook me. The statistics are for the United States of America, but I assume that the situation does not differ much in our country in Moldova. The first statistic says that the gay population in the US makes up 2% of the total population, but these 2% make up 55% of the population who are affected by AIDS. I don’t know if you know, but AIDS was originally called a homosexual disease. Do these statistics tell you anything? Namely, the fact that these homosexual practices are the first agent for the spread of AIDS. The second statistic is that 83% of new people infected with AIDS each year in the United States are gay men. So, again, this is proof that this sinful sexual practice is the catalyst for the spread of this AIDS disease. Of course, there are other people who become infected, through syringes or other means. These statistics show concretely that homosexuality is a sin.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to proceed with the LGBT march?<\/b><\/h2>\n

These people through their march, their going out in the market and this media campaign is done in order to promote the abnormal way of life they lead. At the press conference they organized, they said that the media is the one that helps them the most in promoting information about them, so that people try to accept them. I’m surprised to see how quickly people accept homosexuality as normal. I read an article by a politician who, while criticizing two other celebrities who came to this march in support of this way of life, at the same time the same person supports homosexuality as a normal way of life. This is the purpose of all these actions, to make people accept that their way of life is normal.<\/span><\/p>\n

My dear ones, if you are a Christian, you have been baptized, you cannot help but be guided by what the Holy Scriptures say. And here are several texts on homosexuality written in the Bible, but I will stop at just two of them. In the book of Romans 1:24 it is\u00a0 written:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/b>Therefore God gave them up to vile impurity in the lusts of their hearts, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. For they exchanged the truth of God for falsehood, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged natural relations for that which is contrary to nature, and likewise the men, too, abandoned natural relations with women and burned in their desire toward one another, males with males committing shameful acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.(Romans 1:24-27 NASB)<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This text refers to homosexual practices, says that it is a dishonoring of the human body. In the next verse he says that they exchanged the truth of God for falsehood, and God gave them over to degrading passions. These attractions, which in modern language are called sexual or non-traditional orientation, the Bible calls degrading\u00a0 passions and says that their women exchanged natural relations for that which is contrary to nature, that is, they have become lesbians. In the same way, the men burned in their desires and committed shameful acts with men and received in their own persons the due penalty of their error. Now if you are wondering what is the proper payment for their wandering, remember the statistics data I mentioned above.<\/span><\/p>\n

I do not know how to urge you on this march, to go or not to the organized actions against them, because I think that on account of these protests against homosexuality someone gains political appreciation, someone plays politics, but every Christian must have a his own attitude and it is good for us as Christians to talk to people about this sin tomorrow. Therefore, my dear ones, I urge you to read the texts related to homosexuality, Leviticus 20, 18, Romans 1: 22-27, then read 1 Corinthians 6: 9-11 and talk to people about this sin. The word of God is the one that can stop, God has great power and can pierce people’s hearts, can bring clarity and light to all.<\/span><\/p>\n

The second text I want to read is 1 Corinthians 6. I want to tell you that Corinth was a city where debauchery surpassed any measure, and in ancient Rome when someone wanted to call another with all the dirty words put in one, then they told him he was Corinthian. Near Corinth were two temples, one of Apollo and another of the goddess Artemis, and then in one there were prostituted women, in another temple prostituted men. Behold, in this city God sent the apostle Paul to preach the gospel, and the people believed. Now that Paul wrote the first epistle to them, he wrote:<\/span><\/p>\n

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor <\/span>the<\/span><\/i> greedy, nor those habitually drunk, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.<\/span> Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.(1 Corinthians 6:9-11 NASB)<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In the verse are mentioned the effeminate men, these are the men who consider themselves women in a homosexual couple. The word \u201cmalach\u201d in Greek translates softly, as they were. The homosexuals were the ones who went to the effeminate. In verse 11 Paul says that some of them were believers, but they were washed, sanctified, and counted righteous by the Spirit of God. So God was able to cleanse them, to sanctify these people.<\/span><\/p>\n

This article may also be read by gays or lesbians. My dear ones, I know that this disgusting passion has taken you over and you believe that no one can set you free, I realize that many of you want a change. I want to tell you that there is hope for you, so did the effeminate and the homosexuals in Corinth, but Scripture says that they were washed, sanctified, and then counted righteous. These people have been healed, and you can still be healed.<\/span><\/p>\n

That is why, dear Christians, I urge you to say these things to your friends, when you witness such discussions, bring a Word from God, may your speech always be drawn with salt and grace, so that you know how to respond. Talk to all the people of the Holy Scriptures, tell them about the seriousness of this sin, but also tell them about God’s grace, about the change He can make, as He did in Corinth, and they received release. It is very important that we always have boldness, and pray that God will give you this boldness, that you will speak to people everywhere about what is written in His Word.<\/span><\/p>\n
