Mihai was the only child of his mother, who was abandoned by her husband. The boy learned very well at school, he helped his mother in everything and, after raising him through many difficulties, she expected him to enjoy an easier life, because Mihai learned well in high school. But, after high school, he did not want to go to college, because he made friends who used drugs and he also got caught up in this bad addiction. One morning his mother found out in horror that Mihai had committed suicide. Who will now be able to alleviate this mother’s pain? Did she ever expect him to end his days? This story happened to a high school classmate of our daughter Tika. When she found out, she could not believe that this was true, because she never expected Mihai to do this. No parent expects or assumes that their child will be able to take drugs or commit suicide.<\/span><\/p>\n

People who are aware of the reality of the spiritual world understand that there is a fierce struggle for the human soul. The enemy of human souls, the devil, from the beginning of the world sought to bring death and destruction. Jesus said that he, Satan, is a liar and the father of lies and is a murderer from the beginning. He uses the lie to kill. Now Satan is applying a new strategy to destroy human souls and put social networks into operation. He and his sons, the people who follow him, make full use of modern technology to spread lies and death.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2007, a game called \u201cThe Great Game\u201d (\u0411\u043e\u043b\u044c\u0448\u0430\u044f \u0418\u0433\u0440\u0430) appeared on the Internet in Russia, in which young people were threatened with the arrival of foreigners and in the form of games, in order to accumulate points, they were asked to humiliate a person who came to Russia from Central Asia or the Caucasus, to film the offense he did to them and upload it to their site. When the authorities intervened, there were already over 30,000 such crimes registered on the site. Even more astonished were the authorities when they discovered that this whole evil game was run by four people, one of whom fled abroad, and three were disabled from childhood and could not be tried or prosecuted. To date, they have not found out who invested the money needed to create and spread the game, as the estimated amount was 20 million US dollars.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recently, several games have spread through social networks that provoke and lead children to suicide. The games have different names, but they all have the same end goal. Here are some of the names of these games: “Blue Whale,” “Quiet House,” “How to become a fairy from Vinx,” “Wake me up at 4:20” and others.<\/span><\/p>\n

The most widespread of these games took place in the southern parts of Russia, but they also spread to Ukraine and other countries. Recently, the pastor Vlad Lecari from Larga wrote to me that in their village they also heard about children who would play these games of death. I hope that parents will read this article and take things seriously, because, being mature and hearing that children are playing, we are tempted not to take things seriously. Here’s what happens in that game. The child receives 50 real tasks that he begins to do one by one. Through all these tasks the little player is led step by step to accept suicide which will be his last task to perform. The book “50 Days to My Suicide” by Stace Kramer is also circulating on the Internet. This is the pseudonym, because the real name of the author is Nastea Hohlova from Astrahani. The book pursues the same goal – to lead readers to suicide.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to protect your children?<\/b><\/h2>\n

Don’t start by forbidding them to sit at the computer, because that way you will only provoke them to play secretly or go to friends, stay after school, etc. Talk to your children about the danger of these games and teach them to be discerning and to distinguish the bad things from the good ones to which they are and can be exposed on the internet. If we keep talking about it, teach them to avoid any kind of pornography and erotic images, but also bad and destructive teachings, because the internet abounds in them. Seek to teach children every day of the Holy Scriptures and make it interesting and appealing to them. The Bible says:<\/span><\/p>\n

Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. (Ephesians 6:4 NASB)<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In the Old Testament the same truth is told in detail and how it can be fulfilled in practice:<\/span><\/p>\n

These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. And you shall repeat them diligently to your sons and speak of them when you sit in your house, when you walk on the road, when you lie down, and when you get up. You shall also tie them as a sign to your hand, and they shall be as frontlets on your forehead. You shall also write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. (Deuteronomy 6:6-9 NASB)<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It is very important to read the Bible every night with the children. Start reading historical and biographical books with them. Start with the four Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles. Read with the children in roles. They really like this. Last week I taught a seminar for pastors in Sangerei district and I stayed overnight with Pastor Mihai Cuco\u0219. We had the great pleasure of reading with his children David, Lidiana and Mihaela from the Bible, and they were so excited to read the roles that after reading about an hour, they would have liked to read more. I recommend that you get the Inductive Bible Study Manuals for Children from the \u201cDiscover Yourself\u201d series. These textbooks are unique in that children study the biblical text directly and do so in a fun and interactive way. You have only to gain if you take a book for the adults in the house and study all together.<\/span><\/p>\n

Because adolescence is the most dangerous time to commit suicide, I advise you to get Kay Arthur’s book “Heaven, Hell, Life After Death<\/a>” and study it with your child. It would be very good if this course was taught in all schools, because it presents well the value of human life, the reality of death and what happens at death, where a person\u2019s soul goes, what happens to those who believe in Jesus Christ and with those who do not believe, or with those who commit suicide. I pray that every reader will take this warning seriously and speak to their children today and make sure that they are not exposed to any satanic influences that could lead them to suicide or other evils. Start teaching children God’s Word thoroughly today.<\/span><\/p>\n
