It is important for any reporter and journalist to know God’s Word and to be able to approach any issue and situation from a Biblical perspective. In this article I will teach you how to do this.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Bible is the Word of God and the absolute truth. The Almighty left this Book so that we might know His will and by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ receive the forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life. Through this book God also teaches us divine wisdom so that we can live our lives beautifully on this earth. Speaking of the effects of studying God’s Word, King David said:<\/span><\/p>\n

Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies,for they are ever mine.I have more insight than all my teachers, for Your testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than those who are old, because I have complied with Your precepts. (Psalm 119:98-100 NASB)<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

1. Study the Bible systematically<\/b><\/h2>\n

It is necessary to study the Bible in order to have a good overview of God’s Word and to form an analytical and biblical thinking. In this regard, I highly recommend that you take advantage of inductive Bible study materials<\/a> that are abundantly published in Romanian, Russian, English, and over 130 other languages around the world. Joshua, at the beginning of his activity as leader of the people of Israel, received this command from God:<\/span><\/p>\n

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will achieve success. (Joshua 1:8 NASB)<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

2. Study the topic of the article from a Biblical perspective<\/b><\/h2>\n

Do this after studying the subject from the perspective of other sources available to you. To be able to study the subject from the perspective of the Bible\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Make a list of keywords<\/b><\/h2>\n

They are related to the subject you are addressing and will be found in the Bible. For example, if you write an article about the role of sports, you will not find the word sport in the Bible, but there is still a lot of talk about sports in the Bible. The key words you will need to look for in the Bible are “fight,” “play,” “run,” “fist,” and so on. After you make this list\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

4. Use a biblical concordance<\/b><\/h2>\n

To find all the places where those words are found in the Bible. If you do not have a concordance, you can use a Bible study program. E-Sword<\/a> is a free program that can be installed on your personal computer. Also, on the same site you are offered two translations of the Bible in Romanian.<\/span><\/p>\n

5. Study all biblical references<\/b><\/h2>\n

Study the references where the keywords are mentioned and make lists of everything you learn from these references. See how your subject is approached through the teachings in these verses.<\/span><\/p>\n

6. Apply the respective verses and teachings to explain the topic.<\/b><\/h2>\n

Practical Exercise: Write an article about the role of the church in modern society, also presenting biblical teaching. Apply the procedures learned to study and present the subject from a Bible perspective.<\/span><\/p>\n
