God had salvation in mind even in the Garden of Eden.<\/strong> After sin entered the world, mankind needed salvation (salvation from sin, its consequences, and its power). And knowing this, God foretold that a man of Eve’s seed would deliver mankind from the power of sin and wipe out the payment of sin that is death, the second death in the lake of fire.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I will make enemies Of you and the woman,<\/span><\/p>\n

And of your offspring and her Descendant; He shall bruise you on the head,<\/span><\/p>\n

And you shall bruise Him on the heel.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

(Genesis 3:15 NASB)<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

God gives Abraham a promise about a seed, and Paul teaches us that Eve’s seed is the Lord Jesus Christ, the same seed that is promised to Abraham.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNow the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say, \u201cAnd to seeds,\u201d as one would in referring to many, but rather as in referring to one, \u201cAnd to your seed,\u201d that is, Christ. (Galatians 3:16 NASB)<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

To carry out the plan, God<\/strong> gave birth to the people of Israel or the Jews through Abraham and Sarah. Most of the Old Testament is about the people of Israel and how God led them to the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. Many enemies of God tried to wipe out the people of Israel from the earth, but were unsuccessful. They wanted this because Satan did not want the people to remain and to give birth to the Savior of the world, because as it is written in Genesis, Eve’s seed will crush Satan’s head, that is, his power will be destroyed. He doesn\u2019t want to lose his power over people. During the Old Testament God gave David a promise that the Savior of the world would be from his house. The mother of the Lord, Mary, had in her genealogy King David and in fact her husband, Joseph, also had King David in his genealogy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus went to the cross to fulfill the promise given to Eve by God.<\/strong> On the cross the Lord crushed Satan’s head and took his power over the people. People are born sinners and are slaves to sin, but Jesus took that captivity and destroyed it. At the same time, man must pay the price of sin which is death, and Jesus paid that price when He went to the cross. At the cross of the Romans, do you know what happens to the heel? The heel is crushed! God knew about the death of the Lord Jesus even in the Garden of Eden and told the people then. What happens when the head is crushed? Power is destroyed!<\/span><\/p>\n

The idea of \u200b\u200bChristianity has its beginnings in the Garden of Eden and is not something new that appeared during the first century.<\/strong> God preached the gospel, “the good news,” from the beginning in the Garden of Eden. Jesus preached the gospel as he walked on earth, and his disciples have continued the process to this day. If you believe in Jesus that He is the Son of God, that He is God and that He died on the cross to pay the price for your sins, and you repented, then you have been set free from sin and its power. You are living proof that God’s promise in the Garden of Eden is true and continues to be. This is exactly what happened in my life and it can be so in everyone’s life.
