What should be a habit becomes a rarity. The Bible, the most famous book of all time, has been assigned an international day. True, I expected some events to be organized in honor of God’s Word, but this holiday passed as a mere novelty. In reality, the Bible is the only book that has changed, is now changing, and will change lives. I strongly confirm that since I began to read and study the Bible, I have not stopped admiring the wisdom and power of this book. Not in vain did the apostle Paul say, \u201cAll scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly equipped for all good works.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Mankind has only to thank God, because in His mercy He left us His Word to know how to behave in different situations. Moreover, we as humans are so vulnerable and powerless and only God’s Word is full of power, He has the guaranteed ability to change people’s lives.<\/span><\/p>\n

That is why I consider that only one day to give to the Word of God is insignificant. You can’t even consider yourself a Christian if you haven’t read the entire Bible yet. Although we like to call ourselves a Christian people, we completely ignore the Bible. History has shown that because of it, the Bible, mankind has become more humane. Absolutely everything that was written in the Bible was fulfilled to the millimeter, because the Bible holds the absolute truth. All the promises made by God have been fulfilled and will surely be fulfilled. \u201cFor, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; so no one will remember the past and no one will remember it.” (Isaiah 65:17)<\/span><\/p>\n

“But we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.” (2 Peter 3:13) “There shall not an epistle be broken, nor a law broken, until all things be fulfilled.” (Matthew 5:18b) The Bible is a living, special and wonderful book. “The word of God is living and working, sharper than any two-edged sword – judging the feelings and thoughts of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12) The Bible has changed, is changing, and will change the lives of many (millions and millions) of people, and its authenticity cannot be denied.<\/span><\/p>\n

The New Testament, with the four Gospels, the Acts of the Apostles, and the letters faithfully reflect the history of the first century after Christ. The historical data contained are in harmony with other Jewish and Roman writings, such as the Talmud, the writings of the Jewish historian Josephus Flavius, and the Roman historians Tacitus, Pliny, Suetonius, and others. The geographical, cultural, and social circumstances described or mentioned in the New Testament are also confirmed by archaeological discoveries that attest again and again to the authenticity of the Bible. An example would be the bath of Siloam in Jerusalem, mentioned in John 9:7. In the summer of 2004, work was carried out on a new sewer system in Jerusalem, and some stairs dating back about 2400 years were discovered, as well as the remains of the water tank in which water was conducted during Jesus’ time from the Gihon fountain through the tunnel of Hezekiah. This 525 meter tunnel was built by Hezekiah, king of Judah, around 700 BC and it is still accessible today. Then all the historical events described in the Bible can be easily confirmed by other historical writings.<\/span><\/p>\n

So, dear friend, maybe you have a Bible at home and you are not interested in it. Through this article I want to urge you to read it and then as you read it, you will meet its Author, who only wants you and me to find all our pleasure in the Book of Books. The one and only Book that has solutions to the greatest problem of mankind, namely the problem of sin. No other book will give you viable solutions, only Holy Scripture. Believe it and you will be saved. Celebrate this book daily by studying it. It’s worth it!!!<\/span><\/p>\n
