Fear paralyzes thoughts. Unrest penetrates with small steps to the door of the heart of the bravest and most fearless. People with anxious and insecure eyes surround us every day. Each of us made plans for travel, study, visits, shopping, holidays, investments, construction, and many other desires for the future. Looking around at everything that happens in the world, we see how insignificant they can all be compared to the value of our lives and those of our loved ones.<\/span><\/p>\n

Being in the middle of a pandemic that can affect each of us, I ask myself, if I were to leave this earthly life, what would I leave behind? What did I fail to achieve? I\u2019m referring to the level of relationships with loved ones, with my parents, with my grandmothers and their value for eternity. When life hangs by a thread, you no longer think about your career or how many material things you failed to achieve, but how much importance you gave to eternal things and your immortal soul that lies in our earthen vessels – earthly bodies.<\/span><\/p>\n

What a great treasure God has left us: an eternal soul and a hope for an eternity full of glory and radiance in His Great and All-Sufficient Presence!<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Everyone chooses in his own right as long he is alive, where he will spend his eternity: in the presence of God or in the lake of fire and brimstone. Man’s first priority must be his eternity. Securing your life after physical death is necessary and is the most important achievement in a person’s life. This is possible through repentance of your sins and faith in the Lord Jesus! Here and now you have to cherish every moment, so that when the moments of insecurity for your days come you won\u2019t be afraid of death.<\/span><\/p>\n

These days, I’ve realized that I haven’t spoken to my grandmothers for a long time. When I heard my grandmother’s voice, I understood what a blessing it is to have the chance to listen to the simple advice and words she says to me with love and gentleness. Half an hour passed like a breath. I audio recorded our conversation so that I always have her voice recorded.<\/span><\/p>\n

Every day is a chance to build relationships, to express how precious our loved ones are: our parents, spouses, children, brothers and sisters. At any time our lives could end and I would like the time I lived to be a book of testimony for the people who knew me and a testimony for the Lord Jesus who was seen in my daily life!<\/span><\/p>\n

One who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will lodge in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, \u201cMy refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!\u201d For it is He who rescues you from the net of the trapper and from the deadly plague. He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings you may take refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and wall. You will not be afraid of the terror by night, or of the arrow that flies by day; Of the plague that stalks in darkness, or of the destruction that devastates at noon. (Psalm 91:1-6 NASB)<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I can confidently say that I am under the protection of the Most High and I am resting in the shadow of the Almighty! Yes, when everyone trembles in panic and fear, I rest and trust in the Lord! What can be more reassuring than the shelter and comfort that God gives to those who seek these things in Him!<\/span><\/p>\n

Read this psalm and ask yourself, who is God for you? Can you say these words about yourself? Who are you looking for peace with? Have you put your eternity in order? How do you use your time to build relationships with your loved ones?<\/span><\/p>\n

Seek shelter and rest in God and cherish every moment of this life, so that no matter when your days are over, you will inherit eternal life where there is no more sickness, suffering and pain, the place where God reigns!<\/span><\/p>\n
