Family is the core of society. Without a family, there could be no society. God created the family and gave it a special role and important responsibilities. God’s Word tells us:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cGod created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them; and God said to them, \u201cBe fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.\u201d(Genesis 1:27-28).<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Man is the “crown of creation” of God. He was created in His own image and was made ruler of all that God had made \u201cand God saw that it was good.\u201d (Genesis 1:13)( NASB)<\/em> Is all as good now as it was in the beginning? Unfortunately, I have to say no. It seems that for our society the Word of God is no longer a holy priority, as it once was to our ancestors, although we are more blessed than they were.<\/span><\/p>\n

As we saw later, “God blessed them, and said, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth.” According to family statistics, this commandment of God no longer has authority. In 2005 alone, 24% of children were born out of wedlock, 2111 abandoned, 16,624 children aborted, and 6,251 traumatized by parental separation. In other words, young people today do not even think about receiving God’s blessing for their marriage, and family is no longer a priority for them. The only concern for them is the pleasure of a moment without thinking about the consequences they will have to bear. That is why thousands of mothers, mostly between the ages of 15 and 19, have become the killers of their own children, and 8362 children are traumatized, who tomorrow may be a threat to society because they have not received a good education. It’s a sad, even terrible situation. And we complain that we are a poor country. How can we be rich if sin rules us? We consider ourselves a Christian country, but how dare we call ourselves Christians, when abortion is legal and 46% of marriages end in divorce?!<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0God\u2019s Word says:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201dFor this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh\u2019?\u00a0 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.\u201d (Matthew 19:5-6)( NASB).<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Why are God’s commandments not the laws of the land in our land? How can we prosper if thousands of mothers abort geniuses like Newton or Eminescu every year? How many of the children abandoned or traumatized by divorce become citizens of honor and benefit to our society? How can we raise ourselves up if our 16-year-olds dream of going abroad? How do we imagine getting rid of this poverty if everyone dreams of Italy, Turkey, America, Portugal and no one thinks of how they could contribute to the rise of Moldova? How can we move forward in a society where the woman has taken over the role of the man, because he does not fulfill the role of head of the family and she, the woman, is not treated properly? We\u2019ve come to days when women have to support their families on their own, because men are drunk or lazy and have been looking for a job for years. Or, more recently, wives are in Italy, and the men raise their children, sitting at the bar all day and praising each other for how much money their wives send them. I sit and think about where the beautiful, housekeeping, hard-working and caring Moldovan woman disappeared as she was a few generations ago? In Proverbs 14:1 the word of God says:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>\u201eThe wise woman builds her house, But the foolish tears it down with her own hands.\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Where are our women? Why do we have so few women to build healthy families?<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>By turning to statistics again, we can get a clear but very sad answer. Every 4th woman is beaten by her husband, 40% of women are verbally offended in the family, 1 in 15 have been raped at least once and 1 in 10 are banned from leaving the house.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>In 1 Peter 3:7 God\u2019s Word says: \u201c<\/span>You husbands in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with someone weaker, since she is a woman.\u201d<\/span> What happened to our households? Why don’t the men know how to love their wives and fulfill the role of head of the family, as God planned? Is there any solution to our families’ problems? Of course, everything can be fixed. God’s word is the best solution, if we follow Him. When the husband and wife know their roles and responsibilities, there is harmony in the family, as God planned it. Family has a very important role in society and, when we understand this, we will have happy families.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are on the eve of the elections and the mayors are trying to do more and more things for the people to prove that they deserve to lead our city. The well-being of our country does not depend only on the leadership we have, be it good or bad. Each of us has a responsibility to help improve our lives. We live in the century of speed, which offers us a lot of modern technology that ensures a more comfortable life, but also moving away from people, making us deaf and blind to the needs and problems of our neighbor. Every day is a chase after the wind, without thinking of our souls perishing in sin.<\/span><\/p>\n

Where do we go with such thinking? How can we save the situation of our families? Very simple, fulfilling our role! Parents must raise their children in the fear of God, educating true patriots who will love their country and work for the welfare of their families. As long as we have whole families, immorality and degradation will not be a weapon of destruction for our society. Only by having moral principles and loving our country will we be able to prosper.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Let’s build healthy families with smart children, in order to have a healthy society. Our country is small, but it is beautiful and blessed by God. We are protected from floods, compared to Romania or Florida, and we are protected, not for our merits, but for the fact that He loved us so much, that He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, so that we, believing in Him, may have a happy and eternal life after death. We can have a better life, we just have to want it!<\/span><\/p>\n
