I am a teenager of 15 years old and the brothers from the church want to ask me to present the prayer needs and exhortation in the church service. The problem is that I don&#8217;t know how to speak, how to arrange the subjects. I know you have written an explanation about\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/moldovacrestina.md\/indemn-rugaciune-biserica\/\">&#8220;How should you present an exortation in the church service?\u201d<\/a>. I don&#8217;t really understand, and also I am nervous. One day, when gathered together for prayer, a brother asked me to read a psalm or to share a brief devotional, but even reading that psalm, my face turned red and my heart beat hard. I don&#8217;t know what to do, should I quit this? Probably the Lord doesn&#8217;t want me to become a preacher? There were a lot of people who accepted Christ, became Christians and after a few weeks, others after a few months, started to present the prayer needs or even to preach. I don&#8217;t even know if you can help me.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Dear young man, if the leaders of the church invited you or entrusted you to present the prayer needs, I think they&#8217;ve seen in you a potential of a future preacher, for we do the same in the church I am pastoring. But, after some of them come and speak once or a few more times we understand if they have the potential or not, and we don&#8217;t insist. As pastors, we want every person to serve the church according to his\/her spiritual gift. All the spiritual gifts are divided as speaking spiritual gifts or serving ones. I suppose that you don&#8217;t have a speaking gift if you say that you become nervous, lose your subject and it seems that you don&#8217;t like to talk in front of people. I advise you to get urgently the course\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/precept.md\/2016\/11\/24\/1477\/daruri\/\">\u00a0\u201cSpiritual gifts\u201d<\/a>, to study it well, to understand what are your spiritual gifts, and then serve according them. Also go and talk to your pastor, tell him your situation and he will advise you and guide you to serve the church, according your spiritual gift. In no way should you quit this ministry or stay indifferent in your church, or without a ministry as many people do. You have received spiritual gifts from the Holy Spirit and you must serve with these gifts, as it is written:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever.
