What is the difference between Pentecostals and Jehovah’s Witnesses?

Question:

Please, write about Pentecostals: who they actually are and why people think they are Satanists, as Jehovah’s witnesses are? What religion are they? Because they do not believe in the cross, do not have holy water or icons, they have a changed Bible. Then, why not to believe in the cross? If they do not believe in the cross, then they neither believe in Jesus, which means they mock Him? Shame on them, just now God opened my eyes to see the truth.

It is not true that Pentecostals and Jehovah’s witnesses are Satanists. These are lies that are spoken and spread by “ignorant and fool” people, as the Scriptures say. Then, what’s is that they put Pentecostals and Jehovah’s Witnesses in the same category. In the article “What is the difference between Pentecostal and Baptist church?” I presented who are Pentecostals and I think it will throw light on the question you addressed it. People do not make difference between Baptists, Pentecostals, Jehovah’s witnesses and other denominations, but the difference is huge. Baptists and Pentecostals believe in Christianity’s most important doctrines such as the Divinity of the Lord Jesus, Holy Trinity, etc., while Jehovah’s witnesses are an heresy because they do not recognize the divinity of Christ, nor the divinity of the Holy Spirit or the Holy Trinity doctrine. It is true that Jehovah’s Witnesses do not recognize any cross, that means they do not recognize that Jesus Christ was crucified on a cross, but say that He was crucified on a stake.

But it is not true that any of them are Satanists. These are gross lies. Satanists are those who consciously and voluntarily worship Satan. Neither Pentecostals nor Jehovah’s witnesses do this. And they do not need anyone to add other sins on them because they have enough already.

Concerning Pentecostals’ attitude towards the cross, maybe you mean that they do not believe in crossing themselves, as Orthodox do, or that the cross around the neck should be blessed and that it protects you from all evil. That’s true, they do not believe it, but the early Christians had no such practice and did not believe in them, as well. To convince yourself, read the New Testament. So it is with the holy water, and icons. Pentecostals do not have these practices because they are not mentioned either in the New Testament. This is not a biblical teaching.

With regard to translation, Pentecostals, mostly use the translation of a priest, which is very successful and good, while Jehovah’s Witnesses have made their own translation, which is called New World Translation and the text of the Scripture is very distorted.

I invite readers to write at comments what other differences between Pentecostals and Jehovah’s Witnesses they know.
